The Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 50 is the most powerful production GTI ever built.
It is equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged EA888 engine producing 239 kW, or 325 PS, and 420 Nm of torque.
This represents a 44 kW increase over the standard GTI and a 20 Nm increase over the GTI Clubsport. Power is delivered to the front wheels through a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission, combined with an electronically controlled front differential lock.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 5.5 seconds.
