2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid | How Nissan's e-POWER System Works

The 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid introduces the latest generation of Nissan's e-POWER technology to the US market. Known as the Nissan X-Trail in many international markets, this SUV uses a series-hybrid powertrain in which the petrol engine generates electricity, while electric motors exclusively drive the wheels. The system combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine with a 1.67 kWh lithium-ion battery and two electric motors. The front motor produces 202 hp and 329 Nm, while the rear motor delivers 134 hp and 195 Nm.
