Skoda Favorit 1987–1994 | Road Car & Group A WRC Rally History
The Škoda Favorit marked a turning point for the Czech manufacturer. Introduced in 1987, this five-door hatchback combined Italian design by Stile Bertone with a modern front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout and a 1,289 cc four-cylinder petrol engine. Developed into the Group A Favorit 136 L rally car, it achieved four consecutive under-1,300 cc class victories at the Monte Carlo Rally from 1991 to 1994, with Pavel Sibera and co-driver Petr Gross. In 1994, Škoda also won the FIA Formula 2 World Cup for two-wheel-drive rally cars with engines up to 2,000 cc. #skoda #skodafavorit SUBSCRIBE TO CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6IKxew0eG8FQWl89nCv-3A?sub_confirmation=1 CONTRIBUTE WITH A LITTLE MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION TO ACCESS ALL BENEFITS: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6IKxew0eG8FQWl89nCv-3A/join FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA: Facebook | https://ift.tt/f879mB0 Instagram | https://ift.tt/edpWODM Pinterest | https://ift.tt/avK0sWQ Reddit | https://ift.tt/Ayu6igq X/Twitter | https://www.twitter.com/MotorSpexx Threads | https://ift.tt/UwlyJ5E Tumblr | https://ift.tt/rQ7Vg3U Blog | https://ift.tt/bfMzHgh
