2027 Porsche 911 GT4 R | New Cup-Based GT4 Race Car Revealed
With the all-new 2027 Porsche 911 GT4 R Porsche marks a major shift in its customer motorsport program. For the first time, Porsche moves the GT4 category from the Cayman platform to the rear-engine 911 architecture, creating a new technical direction for global GT4 racing. In this video, we break down the full engineering package, including the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine producing up to 513 horsepower in unrestricted form, Balance of Performance output around 424 horsepower and the six-speed sequential dog gearbox derived from the 911 Cup car.
